If you are planning a trip to Singapore, a visa is mandatory for Indian nationals. You can either apply directly or take the help of a travel agent. Here’s a complete guide for your visa application. In this post, I will share the process, a quick checklist of the documents required with the visa application, along a few sample documents for your ease.

I applied for my Singapore tourist visa in August 2019 via the Thomas Cook website 30-days before my trip. I downloaded the form online and submitted it at one of their authorised application centres, along with supporting documents like a confirmed return ticket, itinerary, etc., that I’ll be listing below. The process took three working days. However, it was hassle-free.

Please note, the citizens of level 1 countries can apply for a Singapore eVisa by online application.

Checklist for Singapore Tourist Visa Application

Don’t forget to get it stamped with the company seal. You will also have to submit your 3-month salary slips and a copy of Id card/visiting card.

Self-employed persons will have to submit proof of their occupation either by self-attesting or on their company’s letterhead stamped with company seal (if valid).

Students will need to submit a copy of their school or college Id card.

7. Address Proof – You will have to submit a copy of your Aadhar card or lease agreement if your passport address is different from your current address.

8. Sponsorship letter – this is only required if you’re unemployed and travelling alone to Singapore.

Visa fees & processing time

The visa processing fee is non-refundable and cost S$30 (1694 INR approx) per applicant. It takes up to 3 working days to process the Visa. However, additional documents might be required case to case.
