My mom is usually sceptical about driving on foreign lands. She prefers a chauffeur-driven vehicle to a self-driven one. However, this time, while planning my trip, when I asked her, she agreed on taking a Zoomcar. Surprising right! We were at Bhubaneswar to attend my friend’s wedding, another one indeed! Therefore, we decided to extend our visit for four more days to explore nearby cities.
Bhatinda is one of those places that one would not visit solely for travel. My reason to visit Bhatinda was to attend a wedding. However, taking advantage of this opportunity, I spent my free day touring the city.
If you’re looking to save money on your accommodation while visiting Bangalore, a hostel might be an excellent option for you. Not only are they budget-friendly, but they also promote environmental sustainability. Additionally, staying at a hostel can be a great way to socialize and meet other travelers. I had a great experience staying at the Hood Co-living hostel during one of my trips to Bangalore.
It was my fourth trip to Bengaluru, India’s technology hub, and I had already explored most of the city’s famous tourist attractions. With a free day ahead, I wanted to make the most of it, so a friend recommended visiting Nandi Hills, a small hill fortress just 60 km from Bengaluru.
It was back in 2008 when I first came across the Lonely Planet magazine. The beautiful imagery, poetic writing and minimal style instantly caught my attention. Since then it has always been my go to place before any trip. Whether it’s planning or deciding a place, Lonely Planet has always been my guide.
I recently had a Déjà vu moment. It was the last day of my Bangalore trip. I accidentally pressed the deleted button on my camera that erased the entire data from my memory card. A similar incident happened to me in 2008, during my Guwahati trip. A sudden pain ran through my veins. Was it the pain of shock because of what happened? Or was it the pain of loss because deep down I knew it was never coming back.
My parents were avid travellers. My sister and I grew up listening to their travel stories. Gwalior was one such place, whose stories were part of our childhood. Our fascination grew year by year by listening to their tales. Therefore, we decided to visit Gwalior in March 2018 and explore the city ourselves!
There is a theme park in Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan that will take you around the world for just 50 bucks! The Waste to Wonder park is a newly added gem to the city. Explore Delhi’s first arboretum, Sunder Nursery, which is home to more than 300 trees and natural habitats, from wetlands to densely forested areas. This newly restored heritage park is located in Nizamuddin West, next to the Humayun’s Tomb complex. It was that time of the year when Rajasthan had reached its boiling point. One could make an omelette on the road at noon. That is when the little wanderer inside our heart pushed us to visit Jaipur.
