Seattle comes alive during the summer! It’s one of the best times to visit the city. Trust me, the weather is amazing from June until September. The days are long and sunny, perfect for hiking, kayaking, and having a BBQ outdoors. Plus, you can hit up some great bars and just have an all-around good time. Sounds awesome right?

I have been meaning to get into vinyl records for some time now and finally took the plunge. Meenakshi gifted me an Audio Technica Turntable last month and just like that, it was time to embark on a quest for a record collection. There is something so freeing about placing your favourite record on the turntable, dropping the pin and listening to the warm tones that come out of this completely analogue way of playing music.

Last weekend, on a bright Sunday morning, I went birding at Union By Natural Area in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited for birding. It is also great for beginner level birders as you can spot birds quite smoothly (as stated by Abhishek, a beginner birder).
The West Seattle Neighbourhood is what you see right across the Puget Sound when viewing from the Downtown waterfront. It’s on slightly hilly terrain with lush evergreen trees and Olympic mountains peaking from the back. This neighbourhood is home to the famous Alki Beach (the main highlight of my article), a breathtaking view of the Space Needle along with Seattle’s skyline, a few gardens and eateries.
Bainbridge Island is an island city located west of Seattle and merely 35 minutes ferry ride away. It is a popular day-trip destination for Seattleites because of its proximity, stunning landscapes and an abundance of activities to keep you engaged
