Hello readers, here’s a birding post after a long time. I recently visited one of the top-rated birding spots in Washington, the Billy Frank Jr. National Wildlife Refuge in Olympia. In this blog post, I will share my experience, thoughts, and some tips that will be handy on your trip to this birder’s paradise.
Flamingos in Mumbai? This was my exact reaction when I first saw an article about flamingos in the Times of India in March 2020. I was surprised. However, these stunning pink and coral-colored birds have been a part of the Mumbai landscape for a long time.
Last weekend, on a bright Sunday morning, I went birding at Union By Natural Area in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited for birding. It is also great for beginner level birders as you can spot birds quite smoothly (as stated by Abhishek, a beginner birder).
